I am excited to share with you some thoughts on the newest addition to my equipment...  the newly released ...   Pixel X800c Flash Gun
After extensive on the job testing of a set of three identical units, I found them to be well built, solid performers and surprisingly  (considering the relatively low cost) packed with some very interesting and useful features.

Below are a few of my observations and samples of shots taken using the Pixel X800c  flash guns.

What I particularly like about this flash unit (and I didn't take for granted):
-  solid and sturdy build quality
-  powerful output and fast recycling
-  easy and intuitive interface and navigation
-  the "ready" beep (very useful!)

-  included omni diffuser
-  included mini stand
-  battery status indicator

-  the multi mode allowing stroboscopic flash output
-  the ability to perform firmware upgrades through a USB port

... but foremost (and I love this feature) ... the built in 2.4GHz radio transceiver enabling a multi off camera flash light setup.
Basically, with a few simple button presses, each unit can be configured to act as a radio master or slave within one of three groups A, B or C.   So, with three units, I can have one master on camera controlling and triggering two additional X800c's off camera, each belonging to a separate group!   Changing the settings of the slave units (from the on camera master) is a breeze and can be done very quickly.
I prefer to set my flashes in manual mode, but if you are into TTL, that mode also exists.

If you are ready to go beyond a single, on camera flash gun, this is a great option. One thing is for sure, you'll have more fun shooting than ever!
